Ok, I know all of us are thankful as we are going into the Thanksgiving week…but NOW we need to get down to business.
We have maybe 5 weeks till the end of the year. So why do I say that? Business Plan…Goals….where do you want to be at the end of 2017? This is where you start, and actually we should have started maybe a week or more ago. Nevertheless, we have ample time to plan.
You should already have a business plan in place, especially if you have been in business for some time.
You need to decide what your goals are, business wise, for the coming year.
- What do you want to earn?
- What is your plan for earning the amount?
- How many deals do you have to close?
- How many cold calls to make?
- How do you find out some of the information?
There are dozens of websites to develop a business plan, many ways to go about it, how to start. For many of you, we sometimes get in a rut, and need to change up our plan or plans, develop a team, farm more than one area, utilize new technological tools. Whichever way you decide to go, break your year into sections/quarters/months and stop to see if you are on track, and if your goal is reachable…sometimes we get over confident and become discouraged if we set unrealistic goals.
So my fellow REALTORS, don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers along the way…and this week be sure to enjoy those delicious & tempting smells from our Thanksgiving feasts…HAPPY THANKSGIVING to YOU, YOUR LOVED ONES & FRIENDS!
