FlagToday is almost like any other day, except today marks our independence.  Independence from what you ask? Independence from taxes, forced duties, allegiance to a country far away.  Is it any different today? Of course, although we didn’t live long ago, if you are a student of history, as I am, there are so many books, periodicals, and magazines written about July fourth so long ago.  We live under our own rules and regulations of our own making, some granted we may not like but majority rules which is better than a one man rule. So take time today to pay your respect to those men, (albeit no women) that had the foresight to fight, some died and many signed the Declaration of Independence so all of us could pursue the dreams of our own.  Happy Independence Day!

Until next Monday…
