I know you are thinking…Where did this title come from? Let me tell you a story: Many years ago, my husband and I took our children to Disney World. We parked in the huge parking lot and walked to the road to wait for the tram to pick us up. It was our first time at Disney and we were all excited. During the tram ride to the main entrance, the driver kept mentioning the name of our area as he picked us up: You are the Goofy people, this is the Goofy parking lot. Being curious, I asked why do you keep repeating the name of the lot where we parked. He replied: You have had a wonderful day at Disney World and you are ready to leave, you get into the tram and now you can’t remember what area you parked in. You are hot, tired and now you are wandering around this huge area for trying to remember Disney with a smile on your face. That’s why I mention the name 3, 4 maybe a half-dozen times. It’s all about what have you done for me lately?
Now, think of your customers and clients. What was the last act or incident as you left them? Was it wonderful, pleasant or horrendous…even though you went out of your way more times than you can remember? Or your Broker, Business Partner or Relative?
You are only as good as your last action or: What have you done for me lately? Makes you think, doesn’t it?
