What is the value of time…your time? Getting ready for work the other day, I was listening to a speaker on TV – he was talking about Time and it’s true value. Interesting, when we were young we couldn’t wait for time to pass…to become a certain age, literally for time to pass so we would be: at the of age 16 – so we can drive… at 18 – independence…at 21 – drinking age and voting age.
As time passes we expect to be transformed, but it doesn’t happen that way. Who do you want to become? We think time will transform us into who we want to be. Time is the great equalizer but we have to commit to what we want to become. To transform we have to have commitment. Neither age nor time will make us wiser, more intelligent or more of anything except older. If we are not committed to becoming whatever it is we want to become, time will only pass us by and we will look back with coulda…shoulda. I would much rather be a has been than a coulda or shoulda. Then I will have used my time wisely.
Many of you readers send me comments each week and I have to say I really value them. They keep me going and I am always looking for topics to make our businesses more profitable, but more importantly, create less liability. So, thank you.
And let’s be good to each other…let’s be REALTORS.
Until next Monday…
