Many times in our lives we begin a journey ~ sometimes we get tired, bored and impatient and then we just quit. I guess we think it wasn’t worth the effort or the end result. We make excuses. We walk away. We begin to do something else. We blame the other person: he did ~ she did ~ they did ~ and so we didn’t. It is so easy just to quit.
Remember back when you were a child…easy for some…hard for others! You wanted something and had no memory of the word NO, except when your parents disciplined you. When you wanted something you tried until you got it. Most kids don’t know when to quit, we learn that as we grow up. We need to be a child again when we attempt something ~ aspire to ~ want to ~ try to. There are many stories of people that attempt something and quit, only to have someone else come along and achieve the very same thing because they refused to quit.
We need to bring that child-like quality back and refuse to take NO for an answer. So give it one more try. It just might be the turning point ~ the prize ~ the goal. Just one more try!
Until Next Monday…
