Last week I wrote about property descriptions – lack thereof or exaggerations – whether it be MLS remarks, brochures or ads. I continue on today…there is more to consider.
Seller’s agents, it is not enough to put the bare essentials on the MLS or brochures, if it’s a condo, what is the maintenance fee? Why should I, (bringing you and your seller) the buyer’s agent have to do ALL of your work? If there is an assessment, please tell me. My buyer may not have the additional money so I won’t waste your time by showing the property. If there are additional important features or information about the property, please make me aware of it – it will obviously affect my client. I would do the same for you.
Please if you make an appointment and you cannot not show or are running late, common courtesy dictates that you call the agent and inform them you cannot make it or are running late. Common courtesy, or better still: The Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do to You.
Let’s be good to each other …Let’s be REALTORS!
Until Next Monday…
