What Were You Thinking?

QuestionHave you ever heard that phrase before?  I have.  Sometimes, with good intentions, we open our mouths and say something crazy, off the wall. Sometimes our mouth takes us beyond where we should have gone. And once it is out, we can’t pull it back in.

So the key word here is: Think!  Think before you speak.  Count to 10...think of what the words will do to someone, the business you might lose, or the feelings you might hurt – all because you didn’t think.

Interesting, when someone is speaking to us, usually we are thinking of an answer insteadloud of listening for them to finish, which is why we say something without thinking.  In the real estate profession, we make a living on listening to what our clients, customers and other REALTORS are saying.  It is very difficult to listen to others when we want to speak and add to the conversation.  So the keys words today are: Listen…Think…and then Speak!

Let’s be good to each other…let’s Be REALTORS!

Until next Monday…

Unfortunately, I have, I do and I will probably continue to do so, not to my credit.

Thank you for sharing this with me this morning.

    My regards,
